Season Update: Hot drinks are out, and cold drinks are officially in! That’s right, in these sweltering months all anyone can think about is a tall glass, dripping with condensation, full of a refreshing, soothing drink that’ll lower your body temperature like a cool breeze through your senses.

Arabian Agencies are the distributors for London Dairy Ice-cream, Igloo Ice-cream and Masafi waters and juices.

Awal Dairy
Awal Dairy are the local company responsible for the very popular Fabion ice-cream range, which offers everything from small to family size tubs and ice-cream sticks.

The kids’ sticks are called Pirate, Aladdin and Clown, and each is instantly recognisable.
The family one and two-litre ice-cream packs are available in five flavours; Vanilla, Strawberry, Mango, Chocolate and a multi flavoured ice-cream named ‘Kocktail’, consisting of Vanilla, Strawberry and Mango.

The 1.2 litre collection is a completely new range of flavours: Tropical Coconut, Choco Chips and Smooth Butterscotch.

Then there are the Impulse Bars — the Vanilla Almonds bar and the Classic Vanilla bar. Who wants ice-cream?

Café Lilou
Café Lilou is the ultra-chic Parisian-styled café that makes you think of the Moulin Rouge. The original outlet is in the Food Quarter in Adliya, but they recently also opened a new café on the East Side of Al A’Ali Mall. It was obviously a good idea, because both outlets are packed at mealtimes, and bustling most of the day!

Aside from their heavily French-influenced menu and delicatessen, Café Lilou also has an extensive list of milkshakes and healthy fruit smoothies on offer. The smoothies menu lists all the ingredients and nutritional content of each one, and their strawberry milkshake is one of the best on the island.
