Born and brewed in Southern California since 1963, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is the oldest and largest privately-held specialty coffee and tea retailer in the United States. Beginning with their first café in Brentwood, California, they have always been passionate about connecting loyal customers to one another with carefully handcrafted products. Today, they are a favourite among Bahrain’s java fanatics.

Behind the steam
Known for sourcing and providing the finest ingredients and flavours, they have built relationships with the best private coffee farms and tea estates around the world, selecting only the top one per cent Arabica beans and finest hand-plucked, whole leaf teas. Their coffee is freshly roasted daily in small batches in a manual European roast style.

All of their teas, concurrently, are hand blended under specific directions. Today The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf proudly offers over 30 varieties of coffee and 15 varieties of tea. And for nearly 50 years, it has demonstrated a passion for product innovation epitomised by ‘the original ice-blended’ beverage.

This café has grown to be an international icon and currently has more than 900 stores in over 20 countries which includes the ones in Juffair, Bahrain City Centre and Oasis Mall in Riffa.
