Mark your calendars for an exhibition that features contrasting hyper-realistic drawings and their role in classical art. Award-wining Bahraini talent Mariam Haji will be displaying her latest drawings in her exhibition titled ‘Extinction’.

Mariam explores the relationship between the impacts of contemporary art practices on classical drawing. The artist explores the idea of whether it is contributing to the extinction of the art of drawing.

Since graduating from the field of fine art, Mariam has been involved in festivals, biennials, school and university lectures and workshops in and out of Bahrain.
