When? May 21-25 | Event? Theatre production | Venue? The British Club
Ten actors and actresses have been rehearsing tirelessly in preparation for May’s performance of See How They Run, performed by the Manama Theatre Club, a section of The British Club.
The English comedy is performed in three parts and is set in 1943 in the living room of the vicarage at the fictitious village of Merton-cum-Middlewick. The ten characters encounter bizarre situations, including mistaken identity, and which create tense comic situations.
The play stars Anne Koheji as Miss Skillon, Plamyra Mattner as Penelope, Rupert Copeman Hill as Clive, Guy Parker as Lionel, Mike Franklin as the Bishop, Daniel Gott as the Man and Mike Eddison as the Sergeant. It is being produced and directed by Rory Adamson and Marina Tadayon who last came together to produce and direct the sell-out production of Ladies Day.
Tickets cost BD7 for non members and BD5 for members and you can choose to attend one of the two dinner theatre performances, held on the Thursday 24 and Friday 25, or watch the play from theatre-style seating on Tuesday 22 and Thursday 24.
