The purpose of the Games is to provide students with a variety of sporting opportunities in a safe and competitive environment; to ensure equal opportunity and participation to both boys and girls; to expand students’ learning experience in sportsmanship and in the value of healthy competition; to recognise the value of the benefits of training in preparation for competition; and to facilitate specialisation in sports appropriate to their age group. Over 20 schools competed in the Under 13 and Under 15 Games and 12 in the Under 19, where St Christopher’s students performed to an outstanding level, showed courage and superb teamwork and returned overloaded with medals and trophies!
