This marked the final development stage for Mulliner’s latest creation. The main prototype, Car Zero, excelled in dyno and racetrack tests, covering 11,700km in rigorous conditions, equivalent to 30,000km of normal driving. Professional drivers further tested it at Goodwood Motor Circuit, completing 500km and 130 laps flawlessly. The 6,597cc straight-six engine, built to original specifications, passed extensive 40-hour dyno tests. Customer cars are now being built, tailored to owners’ specifications with period-correct finishes. These cars, benefiting from modern precision and materials, will perform reliably on standard unleaded fuel and feature new tyres with vintage tread patterns. The new 2025 Ram 1500 has been unveiled, featuring advanced technology, enhanced performance, and improved fuel efficiency with its all-new 3.0-litre Hurricane engine family. This lineup includes the standard Hurricane engine with 420 bhp and 635 Nm of torque and the Hurricane High Output (H/O) engine with 540 bhp and 706 Nm of torque. These engines offer better fuel economy and lower emissions while maintaining exceptional power and performance. The Ram 1500 introduces the ultra-premium Tungsten trim, offering luxury with top-of-theline technology and materials. The truck’s bold design includes premium LED headlamps, a larger grille and innovative features like a power open/ close tailgate. Inside, the Ram 1500 boasts a 14.5inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch passenger screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, along with dual wireless phone charging pads and an advanced Uconnect 5 system. TEST PROGRAMME 2025 RAM 1500 WITH HURRICANE ENGINE FAMILY UNVEILED ASTON MARTIN VALKYRIE AMR-LMH HYPERCAR HITS THE TRACK Aston Martin’s Valkyrie AMR-LMH Hypercar has started its testing phase, marking the company’s return to top-tier endurance racing. This new Hypercar, developed in collaboration with The Heart of Racing, aims to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2025. The Valkyrie AMR-LMH, the first Hypercar derived from a road car, completed initial shakedown tests in the UK. Drivers Darren Turner, Mario Farnbacher, and Harry Tincknell, who won the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans, participated in these tests. The car features a raceoptimised carbon-fibre chassis and a modified Cosworth-built 6.5-litre V12 engine, revving to 11,000rpm and generating over 1000bhp. Aston Martin’s Head of Endurance Motorsport, Adam Carter, expressed satisfaction with the initial results, stating that the car is meeting its performance targets. In addition to WEC and IMSA, Aston Martin’s entry into the Hypercar class ensures their presence across all endurance racing levels.
