The signing ceremony took place at the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2022. Chairman of BAS, Nabeel Kanoo, and CEO of DHL Express Middle East and North Africa, Nour Suliman, and VP Air Capacity Sales at DHL, Andrew Love, signed the agreements in the presence of CEO of BAS, Eng. Mohamed Khalil, and other officials from both entities. Over the course of one year, BAS will be providing cargo ground handling services for DHL aircrafts, which include ramp, cargo and parking services, as well as Unit Load Devices (ULDs). As for DHL Aviation, the agreement stipulates that BAS will be providing warehousing services for a period of two years, which include cargo and mail handling, customs declarations, cargo acceptance, preparation of ULDs, as well as bulk cargo. BAS SIGNS AGREEMENTS WITH DHL AVIATION AND DHL EXPRESS A unilateral codeshare partnership, starting in December, was officially signed between Gulf Air and Emirates at the Bahrain International Airshow. The agreement will offer easy connections and expanded choices for Gulf Air customers connecting to Dubai and onwards to a host of Emirates destinations across Europe, Africa, South America and the Far East. The agreement signals a growing relationship between both airlines following on the framework of cooperation established last year. The agreement was signed by Gulf Air’s Chief Executive Officer, Captain Waleed Al Alawi, Sir Tim Clark President Emirates Airline, and in the presence of Gulf Air’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, HE Zayed R. Alzayani. The signing ceremony was also attended by members of each airline’s executive management teams. The expanded partnership will see Gulf Air place their marketing code (GF) on Emirates operated flights beyond Dubai to a selection of some of the most attractive global tourism hotspots including Budapest, Prague, Warsaw, Algeria, Tunis, HoChi Minh City and Sao Paulo. This codeshare partnership with Emirates is the 16th addition to the Gulf Air partnership portfolio. GULF AIR AND EMIRATES LAUNCH CODESHARE PARTNERSHIP Seef Properties B.S.C. The company reported a net profit and comprehensive income attributable to the parent of BHD2.18 million during the third quarter of 2022, compared to BHD1.24 million for the same quarter of last year, with an increase of 75.62 percent. The increase is attributable to the increase in revenue in both the hospitality and the entertainment segments, in addition to the opening of ‘Yabeela’, the new family entertainment centre in Al Liwan operated by the company’s entertainment arm. The Company’s total equity (after excluding the equity attributable to minority) for the period ended September 30, 2022 increased by 1.58 percent to reach BHD157.33 million, compared to BHD154.88 million for the financial year ended December 31, 2021. The total assets for the period ended September 30, 2022 increased by 1.27 percent to reach BHD182.16 million, compared to BHD179.87 million for the financial year ended December 31, 2021.
