Remembrance Day The annual Remembrance Day Service was commemorated on Sunday, November 13 with a wreath-laying ceremony at the British Embassy in Manama. The event, which is held annually to remember British and Commonwealth servicemen and women who have given their lives in the line of duty, was attended by HEDr. Abdullatif Al Zayani, Bahrain’s Foreign Minister and Ambassador, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Service was hosted by Britain’s Ambassador to Bahrain, HE Roddy Drummond and attended by other diplomats, officials and members of the diplomatic and expatriate communities.
