happenings www.bahrainthismonth.com/events 18 February 2023 DIVE INTO NATURE UNTIL MARCH 18 THE LIVING SEA EXHIBITION BAHRAIN NATIONAL MUSEUM Make your way to the Bahrain National Museum for a truly mesmerising look into the world under water. The Living Sea presents the view of two friends, Prince Hussain Aga Khan, a photographer and author whose work has been exhibited worldwide, and Simone Piccoli, award-winning director of underwater documentaries, on the extraordinary diversity of the underwater worlds of three countries: Tonga, Mexico and Egypt. Through this exhibition you can admire beautiful imagery of whales, sharks, seals, fish, dugongs and more. This exhibition is a collaboration with Focused on Nature, the Swiss association created by Prince Hussain Aga Khan to promote, through the power of photography, awareness of environmental causes and to finance some of the best wildlife charities in the world for particular species and ecosystems of interest. This exhibition is suitable for all ages. Museum visitor fees apply. Visit springofculture.org. THE GOLDEN RATIO FEBRUARY 26 TO MARCH 17 THE DIVINE PROPORTION ART CENTRE Art and mathematics are two worlds that may seem completely separate, one is related to aesthetics, sensory and kinetic expression and emotion, while the other involves logic, accuracy, precision and truth. However, researchers who look deep into stereotypes will be able to find a bridge between beauty and abstraction in the world of numbers. Perceiving the beauty of mathematics requires considering pattern formation and merging mathematical topics with art, as it helps make sense of some math topics. Entry is free for all. The exhibition by Dr. Mayasa Sultan Al Sowaidi will be open daily from 9am to 8pm. Visit springofculture.org. SPRING OF CULTURE EVENTS For more events, visit bahrainthismonth.com
