In 2025, bilateral relations between India and Bahrain deepened further. Two way trade reached USD 1.64 billion in FY 2024 to 2025, while Indian investments totalled nearly USD 2 billion. India has launched an electronic visa system across nine categories for Bahraini nationals. The year 2026 marks the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and the Kingdom of Bahrain. We wish Bahrain success in its term at the United Nations Security Council for 2026 to 2027 and in assuming the Presidency of the GCC.
