The British School of Bahrain (BSB) is celebrating another year of outstanding A-Level results, with students achieving exceptional grades and securing places at some of the world’s most prestigious universities.
Reinforcing its reputation as one of the top 15 private schools in the Middle East and a globally recognised leader in education, students have exceeded international averages and demonstrated consistent year-on-year improvement for the sixth consecutive academic year.
This year, 134 students sat their A-Levels with outstanding success. An impressive 21 percent achieved A* grades, while 47 percent secured A–A* and 71 percent achieved A–B grades. Overall, 90 percent scored between A and C, with an exceptional pass rate of 99 percent.
Staff Celebrate Students
Executive Headteacher Liz Stanley expressed her pride in the Class of 2025, saying: “I am beyond proud of every single BSB student and what they have achieved. Behind these remarkable headline results there are so many wonderful stories of individual success, resilience and ambition. The outstanding progress our students make from the moment they join the BSB Family is built on the highest quality of teaching and learning, positive and nurturing relationships, and our relentless focus on ensuring that each student receives truly personalised and tailored support.

“My greatest pleasure is knowing that BSB graduates have once again secured places at the world’s best universities and all are well equipped to go out into the world, pursue their dreams and shape their reality. Congratulations Class of 2025, we are all excited to see what the future holds!”
Echoing these sentiments, Head of Senior School, Wayne Ridgway, said: “Congratulations to our graduating cohort for their wonderful results. We are so very proud of all that they achieved throughout their time at BSB, which goes far beyond the grades awarded at the end of their journey. They leave us as well-rounded, widely experienced and highly qualified global citizens, ready to succeed in their next steps and beyond.”
Student Success Stories
Among the many individual achievements, several students stood out for their exceptional performances, reflecting BSB’s ethos of ambition and excellence.
Feras Hasan, recipient of the prestigious Crown Prince International Scholarship, achieved three A* and two A grades. He will pursue Medicine at University College Dublin, inspired by his love for Biology and passion for medical sciences.

Rania Bangash is set to embark on an exciting new chapter, as she prepares to study Medicine at the prestigious King’s College London in the upcoming academic year. “I am incredibly pleased with my results. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the dedicated staff at BSB and to my parents for their constant support throughout my academic journey,” she said.
