The Art of Time

A study in rarity and restraint, Biver brings together natural stone, precious metals and artisanal watchmaking to create timepieces defined by individuality and intention.

In a world shaped by constant movement, Biver chooses a more deliberate pace. Founded by Jean-Claude and Pierre Biver as one of Switzerland’s smallest haute horlogerie ateliers, the maison produces only a limited number of watches each year.zvEvery creation begins with intention, moves through the hands of dedicated artisans and ends as an object shaped for a lifetime rather than a moment. At the core of the collection is the JCB 003 micro rotor calibre, a movement designed as much for its architecture as for its precision. It features hand executed anglage, sharp interior angles and three dimensional bridges that demonstrate true craft. The zero reset mechanism allows the seconds hand to return instantly to zero when adjusting the time, offering clarity and exactness. A bi directional micro rotor in 22 carat gold ensures a 65-hour power reserve and the entire movement is visible through the sapphire caseback, a reflection of the maison’s belief that mechanical beauty should be open to admiration.

Lavender Jade
Lavender Jade is one of the rarer members of the jade family and is admired for its gentle violet colour and fine even grain. Historically it has symbolised calm and clarity. In Biver’s interpretation the stone becomes quietly contemporary, especially within a platinum case. With 18 carat white gold hands and baguette VVS1 diamonds, the watch carries a refined softness that stands apart.

Oeil de Fer
Oeil de Fer, or Eye of Iron, is defined by its layered structure and iron rich tones. Gold, burgundy, ochre and black combine in patterns that shift gently with the light. Its density requires particularly careful cutting, making every successful dial a technical achievement. Paired with yellow gold, the stone takes on a painterly quality with colours that deepen as the watch moves through the day.

Quartzite
Quartzite is appreciated for its crystalline clarity and subtle interplay of blue tones. Its naturally occurring white specks and darker veins give the stone a serene, almost atmospheric quality. Paired with platinum, the dial feels cool and luminous. When enriched with baguette cut diamonds or sapphires, the mineral’s texture interacts with the stones to create a meticulous expression of light and symmetry.

Gold & Platinum
This year’s novelties present a refined study of colour, texture and material. Each watch is housed within a 39mm case fashioned from platinum, rose gold or yellow gold and paired with either the proprietary Biver bracelet or hand stitched straps in leather, nubuck or Alcantara.
