The 2025 Royal Concours motor show, held on the lush greens of the Royal Golf Club, set a new benchmark for elegance, engineering, and excellence in the world of classic and luxury automobiles. 

Under the gracious patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, this year’s event, which spanned across both November 7 and 8, combined heritage and high performance in spectacular fashion.

From the moment guests arrived, the ambience radiated exclusivity. The fairways were transformed into a gallery of rolling artistry, with more than one hundred of the world’s most desirable cars gleaming under Bahrain’s autumn sun. Among them were icons from Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, and an extraordinary showcase of vintage Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Benz models. Each car, meticulously restored, told a story of innovation, legacy, and a timeless passion for motoring perfection.

One of the highlights was a special preview with Matthew Pearson, the visionary founder of Halcyon, who shared exciting insights during a short peer-to-peer interview with Bill Grieve of Bahrain This Month. Pearson detailed Halcyon’s ambitious plan to reimagine sixty classic Rolls-Royce Corniche models as fully electric masterpieces, marrying the sophistication of traditional British craftsmanship with the cutting-edge technology of the electric age. These bespoke vehicles will be custom-built, each reflecting the unique personality and lifestyle of its future owner. “It’s about preserving heritage while embracing the future,” Pearson remarked, emphasising Halcyon’s mission to blend timeless design with sustainability.

The Royal Concours also attracted collectors, designers, and automotive icons from across the globe, making it a truly international celebration. The judging panel, composed of world-renowned experts, had the daunting task of selecting winners across several categories, including Best Pre-War Vehicle, Best Restoration, and People’s Choice. The event wasn’t just about competition – it was about connection, culture, and craftsmanship.

Adding to the allure, guests enjoyed curated lifestyle experiences, including gourmet tastings, fashion showcases, and live classical performances that elevated the event beyond the automotive realm. The setting, surrounded by the serene landscapes of the Royal Golf Club, offered an atmosphere of luxury and leisure, where automotive art met social elegance.

To conclude the two-day celebration, Bahrain This Month embarked on a charming golf cart tour of the Royal Concours grounds – a fittingly relaxed way to take one last, lingering look at the exceptional vehicles on display. From every angle, the 2025 Royal Concours was not merely a motor show but a tribute to artistry, innovation, and Bahrain’s growing prominence on the world’s luxury events calendar.
