Sheraton Bahrain Hotel Marks First Anniversary Since Reopening, Celebrating a Year of Transformation and Renewed Heritage

Sheraton Bahrain Hotel celebrated the first anniversary of its reopening on December 19, 2024, following a comprehensive transformation and renovation across all areas of the property. Over the past year, the hotel has re-established itself as one of Bahrain’s leading hospitality destinations, delivering elevated guest experiences, refined dining concepts and versatile event spaces, while honouring the iconic Sheraton legacy.

“Celebrating our first anniversary since reopening is a significant milestone that reflects the dedication of our associates, the trust of our guests and the strength of the Sheraton brand,” said Jurrien Bongers, General Manager of Sheraton Bahrain Hotel. “Our complete transformation has allowed us to usher in a new era of hospitality in Bahrain, one built on warm service, innovative experiences and a deep connection to the community. We look forward to expanding our offerings and creating even more memorable moments for our guests in the years ahead.”

As part of its extensive transformation, Sheraton Bahrain Hotel now features 210 contemporary guest rooms and suites, including 141 Signature Rooms, 41 Club Rooms with exclusive access to the Sheraton Club Lounge, 25 Junior and Executive Suites, and three premium Diplomatic and Presidential Suites. Each space has been thoughtfully designed to combine modern comfort, functionality and refined aesthetics. The hotel also offers 2,002 square metres of flexible meeting and event space, anchored by the Al Taj Grand Ballroom. At 1,067 square metres and divisible into three sections, it remains one of the largest ballrooms in the city. Additional indoor and outdoor venues, alongside five multi-purpose meeting rooms, cater to business events, conferences, weddings and social gatherings of varying scale.

Dining at Sheraton Bahrain Hotel presents a diverse culinary journey. Golestan Persian Grill continues to attract guests with its authentic flavours and rich heritage. WILD Restaurant, the hotel’s vibrant social dining concept, offers sharing-style menus and has quickly established itself as a popular gathering spot, particularly for its Friday brunch. The restaurant also features its own hydroponic garden, reinforcing a commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

In the second quarter of 2025, the hotel further expanded its culinary portfolio with the opening of Brasero Atlántico at the Rooftop. The Argentinian-inspired concept showcases grilled local ingredients, curated beverages, contemporary interiors and sweeping views of the Manama skyline.

For wellness and relaxation, guests can unwind at Shine Spa, which features six treatment rooms, a sauna and steam room, or maintain their routine at Sheraton Fitness, fully equipped and complemented by a dedicated ladies’ gym and views overlooking the pool. Additional facilities include padel courts, an outdoor swimming pool, a Kids Club, concierge services, valet parking and ample complimentary parking.

As Sheraton Bahrain Hotel enters its second year since reopening, the team remains committed to delivering modern luxury rooted in timeless hospitality, reaffirming its position as one of the Kingdom’s most iconic destinations.
