Al Hilal Healthcare Group has officially announced its acquisition of Middle East Hospital in Segaya, rebranding it as Al Hilal Premier Hospital – the group’s 10th facility and second full-scale hospital.

This historic acquisition marks the largest of its kind in Bahrain’s healthcare sector. A press meet held on May 5 introduced the newly rebranded hospital, unveiling its logo and promotional teaser in the presence of senior management, medical professionals, media and industry leaders.

Al Hilal Premier Hospital aims to set new benchmarks in medical care by offering comprehensive services under one roof. The 65-bed facility will host a team of expert doctors and surgeons delivering personalised care across numerous specialties including cardiology, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, neurology, bariatric surgery and more. State-of-the-art technology, modern infrastructure and a focus on patient satisfaction underpin the hospital’s ethos of ‘Trusted Care & Premier Experience.’

Dr. P. A. Mohammed, Managing Director, described the acquisition as a “significant step in strengthening operational capabilities,” while Co-Managing Director, Abdul Latheef, noted: “We are proud to be the only group treating over 7,000 patients daily and plan to open two more facilities this year.”
