A highly-placed Bahraini delegation led by the Capital Governor HE Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and organised by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) visited China’s Hebei Province and met with Governor Xu Qin, and other local government officials and business leaders in Shijiazhuang. They all took part in the Bahrain-Hebei Business Forum looking at ways to strengthen cooperation. The meeting came as part of the Bahraini delegation’s nine-day visit to China’s principal commercial centres on a mission to increase cooperation between the two countries which mark 30 years of diplomatic relations in 2019.
Bahrain plans to partner with Hebei in the future and HE Khalid Al Rumaihi, CEO of Bahrain Economic Development Board, which organised the trip, says: “Our nine-day visit to China has been very successful, which has been demonstrated by 15 agreements signed between Bahraini entities and their Chinese counterparts. We look forward to working with the Hebei government to create a supportive environment that can facilitate and promote business partnerships between Bahrain and Hebei.”
