The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain brought together its team to reaffirm its loyalty to the Kingdom during a ceremony marking the signing of a Pledge of Loyalty and Allegiance.
The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain brought together its team on June 30 for a ceremony marking the signing of a Pledge of Loyalty and Allegiance to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the people of Bahrain. The occasion reflected the hotel’s appreciation for the Kingdom and the role it continues to play within the wider community.
Held at the resort in Seef, the ceremony was attended by Mr. Yamil Santiago, Director of the International Hotels Establishment and representative of the owners, General Manager Bernard de Villèle, members of the Guidance Team and Ladies and Gentlemen from across the hotel.
Addressing those gathered, Mr. de Villèle reflected on Bahrain’s history under the leadership of the House of Khalifa since 1783, noting how the Kingdom has preserved its heritage while embracing progress.
He described Bahrain as a country that has “welcomed the world with open arms”, adding that its welcoming spirit, investment in infrastructure and high standards across healthcare, education and public safety have made it an inspiring place to live and work.
Mr. Santiago echoed those sentiments, describing Bahrain as “truly a second home” for many of the hotel’s international team members. He spoke of the opportunities the Kingdom has provided and reaffirmed the organisation’s support for Bahrain’s continued growth and prosperity.
During the ceremony, employees also shared personal reflections on how Bahrain has become home, speaking about the relationships they have built while living and working in the Kingdom. Their stories reflected the multicultural environment that continues to shape both Bahrain and The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain.
The ceremony concluded with a collective affirmation of loyalty and gratitude, reinforcing The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain’s commitment to remaining an active partner in the Kingdom’s continued development.
