A Terrific Treat

This meat lover’s paradise has some delightful desserts to end a fantastic meal on a sweet note.

The Butcher Shop & Grill at City Centre Bahrain comes from a top-end South African steakhouse that was established in Johannesburg in 1996. For over two decades the name has reigned supreme as the king of all carnivore hangouts.

The eatery’s relaxed atmosphere makes it the perfect venue to sink your teeth into some succulent eats after a fun day at the mall. The restaurant is best known for its extensive variety of meats and prime cuts, as well as its value for money.

The grill house is committed to delivering the best quality meat, and, spreading awareness amongst clientele on how to best enjoy it is at the heart of the brand’s philosophy. The outlet has a number of options for poultry, seafood and vegetarian fare as well.

A new dessert menu has been recently launched and is full of lip-smacking goodies to round up a hearty meal. The list may not seem exhaustive, but it has all the key elements that will make you feel on cloud nine. Classics like the Butcher chocolate fondant, cheesecake, vanilla crème brûlée and date pudding are failsafe crowd-pleasers. If you’re feeling more experimental, then the matcha green tea is for you. This is the eatery’s take on a light and healthy sweet course. It’s a verdant treat is served with wild berry coulis, edible flowers and a cold smoke to make it look as exotic as it tastes.

For something fruitier, the mango mousse topped with sweet quinoa is apt. The Pavlova is a feast for the eyes as much as for the palate. This beautifully presented dish is an assortment of exotic fruit, meringue and light home-made cream.

The Butcher Shop & Grill is more than a restaurant. Besides serving an array of excellent meat dishes, it also houses a retail butchery, where customers can purchase premium quality cuts of their choice.
