A native of Chicago, USA, Chef Lamont graduated from Crane High School in June 1990 and served in the United States Navy for three years from June 1992.

He later obtained his Culinary Arts Degree in August 2016 from L'École Culinaire Institute, Memphis, Tennessee.

Chef Lamont became the Executive Chef with Black Angus Restaurant, at Coral Bay, in February and kicked off the grand opening on March 21, 2019.

Since then, he has excelled himself in putting together a delicious modern menu to suit a wide range of tastes. Under his watchful eye beef experts and bartenders are on hand to help you out with those all-important decisions... ribeye, sirloin, T-bone, rump, fillet, Tomahawk, big-boy cuts – a steak for every occasion, a style for every taste.

And on the drinks side, at Black Angus, you will find everything from exotic mixes to tasty ales.
