Bahrain is known for its thriving, ever-expanding dining scene. A plethora of restaurants, serving almost every cuisine imaginable, are dotted all around town.

The simplicity of the flavours combined with the versatility of the ingredients lend Italian food a special charm, making it a favourite amongst diners. Several preparation styles and a clever use of produce can make this cuisine evolve into something distinct. There are many establishments on the island that proudly serve gastronomic delights from various regions of Italy.

Whether you fancy devouring a doughy pizza festooned with delectable toppings, a satiating bowl of carb-rich pasta, or a cheesy treat of sorts, there are plenty of places you can head to, based on your preferred neighbourhood.

For a quick in-and-out experience, head to American Alley in Juffair. It has Romano’s Macaroni Grill and Red Sauce, among others. A couple of streets away is the upmarket Cucina Italiana at Al Safir Hotel, known for its scintillating décor and dishes. A few steps away stands Oliveto, a strikingly lustrous venue with a hefty menu selection with both classic and modern dishes.

Tucked away from all the bustle lies Mino’s, in a corner, which has some great offers on its eats, throughout the week.
