Stepping into Bushido is like entering a different realm altogether – one of Zen mysticism, which is both chic and trendy. The décor is a perfect blend of austerity and opulence, with colours and vibes of a bygone Japanese era. Matching the interior in sensuality and appeal, the food served at the two-level restaurant and lounge is remarkable. The kitchen is bustling with expert chefs cooking up a wide variety of Japanese concepts – sashimi, sushi and robata – all done to perfection. Guests can order from an à la carte menu as well.
Come Friday, Bushido takes the brunch game up a notch with fresh food, tasty flavours and a huge array of Japanese favourites. The venue specialises in live cooking stations and freshly prepared dishes ranging from modern Japanese to more authentic options. The lavish meal costs BD19++ inclusive of water and fresh juices, or BD26.500++, with the addition of selected beverages and cocktails.
The buffet features a recently expanded selection of food, a fresh juice station, extensive salad options and a newly broadened range of seafood, as a result of the popularity of the sushi counter. Guests can savour a fabulous spread of unlimited sushi, sashimi, main dishes and desserts, along with thirst-quenching cocktails that have a good blend of Eastern and Western influences.
When you are ready to take on the main course, on offer are delicious hot dishes from the teppanyaki kitchen and live-cooking pasta station where the chefs are happy to prepare food to the guests’ preference. Don’t forget to leave room for scrumptious desserts. The highlights are a beautiful display of sweet treats, a chocolate fountain, homemade chocolates and yummy ice cream.
In cooler weather, you can choose to enjoy your food and drinks outside in the stunning and unique surroundings of the lagoon terrace, where the soothing sound of the water will make your brunch experience even more relaxing. Bushido’s lounge music creates a sophisticated mood if you wish to dine indoors.
