The Kingdom of Bahrain is known for its welcoming nature and has long enjoyed strong and enduring diplomatic relations with several countries across the world. On the occasions of the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Accession to the throne and the 53rd National Day of Bahrain, several diplomats have shared their heartfelt congratulatory messages with HM King Hamad, the royal family and the people of Bahrain. These messages reflect admiration for HM’s leadership, Bahrain’s remarkable progress and continued international collaboration.

On the auspicious occasions of the celebration by the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain of its 53rd National Day as well as the 25th anniversary of the joyful enthronement of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, allow me to express to Your Majesty, on my own behalf and on that of Algeria’s Embassy and community in Bahrain, my very heartfelt congratulations coupled with my warmest wishes for your own everlasting health and happiness, and further progress and prosperity for the brotherly Bahraini people.

The obvious important strides that the beloved Kingdom of Bahrain has made, under your enlightened leadership towards achieving its noble goals in terms of development and progress in all the domains, is undoubtedly a source of joy and pride not only for the Bahraini people but also for the entire Arab and Islamic nation.

At the end, I renew to Your Majesty my best wishes for a long and healthy reign and extend my congratulations to all the members of the honourable Royal Family.

Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria

On behalf of the Government and people of Bangladesh, I would like to extend our warmest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the friendly people of Bahrain on the Kingdom’s National Day and also on the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Hamad’s ascension to the throne.

December 16 is also very special for Bangladesh as we celebrate it as our Great Victory Day. Similarly, the year 2024 is special as well since it marks the Golden Jubilee of our diplomatic relations with Bahrain.

To celebrate these momentous occasions, we are organising a friendly Bangladesh-Bahrain Cricket Cup in collaboration with the Bahrain Cricket Federation, hosting a Bangladesh Festival to showcase our rich culture, and holding an awareness seminar for our community members in collaboration with various Bahraini Government entities.
Lastly, I would like to reaffirm Bangladesh’s commitment to further deepen our bilateral ties with Bahrain.

Happy National Day to the people of Bahrain!

Martina S. Kindt

As I ponder on the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession to the throne, it immediately comes to mind how much the world has changed over the past 25 years. In 1999, who could have predicted the Covid-19 pandemic, the rise of Bitcoin or the revolution sparked by social media?
In Bahrain, the turn of the millennium also marked transformative milestones, including the approval of the National Charter, the empowerment of women through voting and elected office, and the hosting of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, among many other achievements.

Today, the dhow of Bahrain continues to navigate successfully on its remarkable journey through the 21st century, guided by the moral compass of His Majesty King Hamad and anchored in the sense of national identity he so powerfully embodies.

On this joyous occasion, Brazil, in unison, extends its heartfelt wishes for long life and continued success to His Majesty, celebrating the progress and spirit of this wonderful and cherished country.

Ambassador of Brazil
HE Adriano Silva Pucci

For the past 25 years of his reign, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has promoted the peaceful coexistence of different religions, beliefs and cultures in Bahrain, and Bahraini people are living in peace and contentment, society prosperous and stable, and great achievements made in all areas. China looks forward to working closer with Bahrain to achieve more results and play a greater role in promoting peaceful coexistence and common development. I wish the people of Bahrain a happy holiday and the Kingdom of Bahrain long prosperity!

Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China
HE Ni Ruchi

There are no words that can truly portray the depth and strength of the historical relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Bahrain. Our bilateral relations have been deepened, consolidated and substantiated throughout history to form a unique political harmony, strong people to people ties, shared culture as well as enhanced economic relations. I look forward to continue building on this solid partnership during my tenure.

On behalf of the Government and people of Japan, and with the warmest regards of His Majesty the Emperor, I extend heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad and the people of Bahrain on the Silver Jubilee of His Accession.

Japan and Bahrain have enjoyed a strong friendship since 1972. Our royal and imperial families have maintained mutual respect, highlighted by King Hamad’s visit to Japan in 2012 and Crown Prince Salman’s attendance at Emperor Naruhito’s enthronement in 2019. Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako fondly remember their 1994 visit to Bahrain. Over the decades, our partnership has grown stronger, built on shared values and goals.

Guided by His Majesty’s visionary leadership and commitment to peace and stability, our bilateral relations as well as collaboration on global agenda are flourishing. Economically, our nations have forged robust partnerships. Our trade relations, which began in 1934, continue to thrive. Culturally, initiatives in art, food, pop culture, archaeology and educational exchanges have enriched both our cultures. Looking ahead, I am excited about the future of our relations and the opportunities for collaboration. Together, we can achieve greater heights.

Happy National Day, Bahrain! May the Kingdom continue to prosper in the years to come.
