Along with abstinence and reflection, Ramadan is also a time for bonding with dear ones over indulgent culinary treats after sundown. BTM rounds up some of the island’s best Iftar and Ghabga options.

 

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay

Al Bahrain Ballroom will sport a modern Arabesque theme in the main dining area and a special Ramadan Tent. The buffet will feature a wide selection of traditional Bahraini fare as well as Lebanese, Moroccan, Indian, Turkish and global cuisine with a number of live cooking stations for sushi, bao, dosa and carved meats. Iftar will run from sunset till 8pm and is priced at BD32, including water, Ramadan juices, Arabic coffee and Moroccan tea.
Ghabga is from 9pm till 2am, priced at BD34.500, including Ramadan juices only. During the Holy Month, a professional live band from Cairo will be playing mellow traditional tunes along with an opera singer. Shisha will be available at the tent.
