The UK’s national carrier, British Airways, has announced the launch of a third route to Saudi Arabia in December. The Dammam flight will use a Boeing 777 flying via Bahrain. It will be one of the world’s shortest Boeing 777 routes and will allow the airline to replace the limousine service it currently operates between Bahrain and Dammam which involves a wait at Bahrain International Airport before travellers undertake the last leg of their journey.
