Saudi in Bahrain

Few relationships in the Gulf are as deeply rooted as that between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

The opening of the King Fahd Causeway in 1986 transformed the relationship further, creating a permanent physical link between the two countries. For Bahrain, Saudi Arabia remains an essential economic partner and a major source of visitors, investment and business activity. At the same time, Bahrain offers Saudi residents and companies a neighbouring market with deep cultural familiarity and strong commercial connections.

Today, the partnership extends across finance, energy, infrastructure, tourism, education and the arts. Ambitious joint initiatives and closer institutional ties are opening new possibilities, reflecting the determination of both kingdoms to build on their shared past while preparing for the future.
