Bahrain, whose name originally means ‘two seas’ has a long, rich history of seafaring, once a nation that relied on dhow-travel for its livelihood and trade. Our pearls are prized as some of the best natural pearls in the world...historically, they were gathered by divers who lowered dove underwater, weighted and controlled. We can now swap in our dhows for jet skis to honour our traditions in a more fun way to embrace the water. Below are the best watersports options in Bahrain, for you to get snorkeling, boating or wakesurfing - your choice!

Bahrain Wake, partnered with a cable park manufacturer has introduced Bahrain’s first and only cable park where you can sign yourself up or your child for wakeboarding lessons. If you are already advanced at the sport, you can still book with Bahrain Wake and let them know if you would want to assist with their training and development! Bahrain Wake is also a dealer of towboats, wakeboards, binding, life vests, ropes and handles. Their locations are in Marassi Beach and Atoll 2 Beach in Durrat, both open everyday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. To book, call +973 32293881.
