What is it?
100,000 Stars provides a stunning look at the stars that are relatively close to Earth. Using your mouse or trackpad, you can zoom in and out to explore The Milky Way and surrounding galaxies.
This will kill hours of your time and make you realise just how tiny a speck our planet is in the cosmos. The website is brilliantly detailed; zooming in reveals the names of the most prominent stars close to our sun – click each name to learn more about it and see a digital rendition.
It sounds daft, but it isn’t detailed enough! After using the site for a while, you want to keep scrolling further and further out, but the scope is limited far too soon. Hopefully in the next few years, the next 100,000 stars further out will be posted on the map.
Just as the title says, this website is a hilarious collection of hundreds of brands and their slogans re-imagined. While brands make their own efforts of marketing with slogans, this is a playful take on them that will have you in stitches on your lunch break.
Treat this website as your virtual dietician. Enter your dietary plans to get recommendations from this website along with a grocery list that you would need to follow the diet for the entire week.
