The opening of Lulu Group’s latest hypermarket shows the company’s confidence in Bahrain and commitment to the local market.
The Saar branch, the group’s 156th store globally and seventh in Bahrain, was inaugurated by HE Shaikh Khaled bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, in the presence of UAE Ambassador HH Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij, President of the Crown Prince’s Court, HE Zayed Al Zayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce and tourism, as well as several other VIPs and ambassadors.
The sprawling 100,000sq/ft hypermarket has been designed using the latest retail space concepts and most modern technology for ease of shopping and display.
Lulu Group chairman and MD, Yusuff Ali MA, said: “The opening of the 156th Lulu Hypermarket in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the seventh in the country is a moment of great pride for us.
