UNEECO (Universal Electro-Engineering) is the go-to for several world-renowned brands of electrical, electronics and mechanical products, including India’s L&T and Modutec and, in recognition of his support of the Kingdom’s Indian expats, its chairman, Abdul Rahman Juma, recently received a prestigious award from Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS).
The company, which was established in 1976, is a leading manufacturer of low-voltage switchgear products in the Kingdom particularly building panels for Schneider Electric and L&T. It also markets various high-voltage equipment such as vacuum switchgear, SF6 ring main units and transformers which are manufactured by well-known companies globally.
The most popular of its inventory are Saudi transformers, Raychem for medium voltage, electrical switchgears, transformers, ring main units, fuse boards, termination and joints etc. It will also soon begin providing items from RR Global and Modutec panels.
Uneeco products are well trusted and can be found in Electricity and Water Authority as well as in major residential, commercial and retail developments across the Kingdom.
The company currently employs 180 people, of whom many are Indian expatriates, leading to the Business Icon Award, which was recently handed to Abdul Rahman Juma.
