Unmistakably French Style

Daniele Décor and Atelier CL have been imparting a sense of French spirit to the Kingdom’s home and business interiors for more than 35 years.

Though Bahrain born through its original French founder, the company changed hands a few years back and is now part of one of the world’s largest bespoke French design companies – Group Atelier de France.

This has brought on board new areas of expertise, some of them exclusive to just these two companies in the region, which allow them to continue providing clients with personalised, outstanding and high-quality interior designs and decorative works.

A stable of highly-skilled artisans boasts skills and know-how based on traditional techniques from France, such as straw marquetry – only available via a very few companies worldwide – and real ‘Verre Eglomise’, which dates back to the 18th century and is only available from Daniele Décor and Atelier CL in our region.

As said by their CEO: “Our unique goal is to satisfy our clients by creating interior design and decorative works, matching with their sensitivity and feelings.”

To help achieve this, the showroom in Sitra offers almost 40,000 fabrics and 17,000-plus wallpaper samples with the collection ever growing and changing, keeping abreast of the latest trends while ensuring clients can still access classic favourites and more traditional options.

Daniele Décor specialises in personalised interiors and designed products, from curtaining to upholstery, carpentry, consultancy and full interior design. And, if you want to see how your finished home or office will look, the latest virtual reality software can give clients a real immersion into their future interior.

Atelier CL provides original creative, decorative and specialised interior painting solutions from stucco to trompe l’oeil on canvas, to the creation of ceilings in palladium or gold leaves, artistic murals, stone and marble finishes and much more.

The two companies are located in Bahrain but carry out projects in many countries across the the GCC, for a wide range of clientele from private palaces to luxury hospitality and commercial developments.

The end of July will see a new man at the helm of the business as Richard de Suremain takes over from current CEO Stanislas Gastaldi, who is returning to the parent group.
Richard is animated by the same passion for creating elegant, stunning and pleasing interior designs and decorative solutions.

He says: “I look forward to continuing our mission of bringing quality French design and service to Bahrain and the region and preserving the heritage this much-respected company has built up over more than three decades.”
