Bahrain Commercial Services, the Kingdom’s JAC dealer, recently launched the S3, a compact SUV that has been built with urban young customers in mind.
Gone are the days when new drivers were forced to drive battered old rust buckets, now they can cruise around in style without breaking the bank.
The S3 is a sleek-looking model with chrome accents that give a subtle yet substantial nod to its sensational selection of available features. Safety is an important factor and this model is designed to keep driver and passengers secure. It has a rigid body made with high-intensity steel and is also equipped with Electronic Stability Control, Electronic Power Advanced Steering, ABS Brakes (which prevent skidding and help you maintain steering control under hard braking conditions) and Hill-start Assist Control – making it ideal for most terrains.
S3 also has an accurately calibrated front Mac Pherson suspension, higher responsiveness, ensuring a smoother driving experience. Meanwhile, eccentric type front shock absorbers reduce the horizontal force, improving their lifespan, and the transverse stabiliser bar improves the rolling stiffness of the vehicle’s suspension.
Inside is just as impressive. The centre console ensures everything is clearly laid out and easy to use and the leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with a multi-function button to adjust the multimedia and cruise control system.
Under the bonnet is a 1.6-litre engine that generates 118bhp and 155 Nm of torque. Parking is simple and hassle free thanks to the rear camera and parking sensors – and finding a space to slot into is easy thanks to the car’s compact dimensions.
The S3 also has an impressive amount of storage space. You can easily fit a couple of large suitcases in the boot and still have room for your weekly shopping.
