The New President and CEO of Daimler Commercial Vehicles MENA

Daimler Commercial Vehicles MENA FZE (DCV MENA) has announced the appointment of Michael Dietz as the new President and CEO, effective April 1, 2024. Mr. Dietz succeeds Kay-Wolf Ahlden, who retired from Daimler Truck on December 31.

I really look forward working with our highly experienced team and our strong General Distributor partners to drive and deliver the industry-leading product- and services portfolio to our esteemed customers in the markets,” says Mr. Dietz.

Throughout his career, Michael has held various leadership positions in both markets and headquarters. He has previously led the Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks division and served as the Global Head of Marketing Mercedes-Benz Trucks.

Since January 2020, Michael served as President and Group CEO at the Regional Centre Southern Africa, where he played a pivotal role in the establishment of the DTSA Group of Companies and the development of the Daimler Truck Campus, including the new headquarters in Pretoria.
