10,000 Bahrainis to be Trained in Programming

The ‘Smart Coders’ initiative aims to train 10,000 Bahrainis in programming and the latest technologies development over the course of the next five years.

The Nasser Centre for Rehabilitation and Vocational Training (NVTC) and Thinksmart for Development and Training signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish the ‘Smart Coders’ initiative.

Together, they will provide a wide range of opportunities for all Bahrainis to understand and use the language of the future and technological tools, which will contribute to the digital transformation of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The MoU was signed by NVTC CEO Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Nuaimi and ThinkSmart CEO Ahmed Attiya Al Hujairi.
