Novembre Numerique aims to make technology and the creations linked to it more accessible worldwide, showcasing the diversity of french digital art and encouraging dialogue between creators. The week-long festival will take place at the Mall of Dilmunia from November 2-6.
This November, the thrilling Bahrain International Airshow is back This year, the show will be held from November 9 to 11 at the Sakhir Airbase, from 10am - 6pm each day. The air show is one of the biggest in the region and this year marks the sixth edition of this event. The bi-annual airshow will feature aircraft showcases, and airshows by multiple aerospace groups, and will have family-oriented play areas and shows.
The Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) is delighted to announce that its annual charitable Poppy Ball is back after a three-year hiatus. One of the most popular events on Bahrain’s yearly social calendar, this year’s Poppy Ball will be held at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel’s Grand Ambassador Ballroom on November 10. As is customary, one of the main attractions at the Poppy Ball is the attendance of the Chelsea Pensioners as VIP Guests of Honour. In addition, the UK’s Red Arrows will also be attending the ball.
A truly unique dining and entertainment experience awaits residents of Bahrain with ‘Faulty Towers- The Dining Experience’ this November 10 and 11. The spectacular event marks the launch of ALIST MEDIA which aims to diversify and push the bar of entertainment in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain, BIC: 11
On your marks, racers! The Bapco 8 hours of Bahrain is hosting the 2022 FIA world endurance Championship. The race weekend is scheduled to take place on 11 and 12 November in Sakhir and will feature a packed 37-car grid with competition in four race categories. Tickets are on sale now, at just BD5 for adults and BD2.5 for kids.
The Snowflake Craft Fair, Diplomat Radisson Blu: 12
The American Women’s Association Bahrain is hosting the Snowflake Craft Fair at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel’s Grand Ambassadors Ballroom on November 12! Under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Thajba bint Salman Al Khalifa, the event will see designers, crafters and artists showcase their handcrafted products. The entry fee is BD1 and free for children under five. All proceeds will be donated to local charities.
In recognition of the role and contribution of Islamic Art in the preservation and dissemination of human Civilization and Culture, on November 18 of each year has been proclaimed as the International Day of Islamic Art by UNESCO.
The celebration of this day proposed by the Kingdom of Bahrain and adopted by the General Conference of UNESCO at its 40th session in 2019, aims to showcase the diversity and pluralism embodied in the wealth of Islamic Art.
