20,000 Iftar Meals Distributed as part of ‘Together We Care’ Campaign

Around 500 boxes were prepared by the ‘Together We Care’ initiative with Alreef Panasia, under the Patronage of the Capital Governorate, for distribution during Iftar to the underprivileged who are deeply affected due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Together We Care is a community service platform by One Bahrain Hospitality. “It is disheartening to see the number of people affected due to the current situation increasing daily. It is indeed our duty to inspire humanity and share what we have with those who cannot afford a grain of rice for themselves and their family,” said General Manager of One Bahrain Hospitality, Anthony Poulose.

The volunteers have successfully distributed over 20,000 meals, in various locations in Bahrain, over the last 5 days through the initiative which they intend to continue in order to reach more people. “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Capital Governorate for letting us be a part of this noble cause and to Alreef Panasia for extending their hands of support this time. We hope that we can continue not only during Ramadan but whenever required,” he said.
