All schools and kindergartens in Bahrain to be closed for additional 2 weeks

The Education Ministry announced that, based on the directives of the Coordination Committee chaired by His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister, it was decided to extend the period of suspension of studies in government and private schools, governmental and private higher education institutions and kindergartens for an additional two weeks until March 29, 2020. This is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students in light of the precautions taken by the state to limit the spread of the "Corona" virus.

The Ministry also announced that, the directives of the Coordination Committee headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education announced that administrative and educational cadres will be allowed in government and private schools and government and private higher education institutions And kindergartens return to work from next Sunday, corresponding to the 8th March 2020 AD, in order to work to achieve the goals of the school year and reduce the effects of temporary disruption of study in educational institutions.
