Aqua Vista Bahrain Partners with Bahrain Mobility International Center

Aqua Vista Bahrain has partnered with the Bahrain Mobility International Center to support greater inclusion and employment opportunities for People of Determination within the hospitality sector.

As part of the partnership, three team members recommended by the Center have joined Aqua Vista Bahrain in operational roles. Abdulrahman works as a doorman in the hotel’s main lobby, while Abdullah and Moosa have joined the Security Department as CCTV operators.

The collaboration focuses on employment, skills development and workplace integration for individuals with physical disabilities, moving beyond traditional charitable approaches towards opportunities within the workplace.

Commenting on the partnership, Alper Kucukbaycan, General Manager of Aqua Vista Bahrain, said the employment of the three team members reflected the hotel’s approach to creating an inclusive workplace. He noted that Abdulrahman is part of the hotel’s front-of-house operations, while Abdullah and Moosa support security monitoring.

Adel Sultan Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Bahrain Mobility International Center, said partnerships with businesses can provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate more fully in professional life.

The two organisations plan to continue their collaboration through training programmes, workplace accessibility improvements and community initiatives.

Aqua Vista Bahrain is located in the Al Seef district of Manama. The hotel offers accommodation, dining venues, a pool deck, a wellness centre and meeting and event facilities. It currently operates as an independent property under its owning company, Alwajeha AlBahrya Co. WLL, while preparing for integration into a global boutique hospitality portfolio.

The Bahrain Mobility International Center is a non-governmental organisation in Bahrain that supports, rehabilitates and advocates for individuals with physical disabilities, with a focus on accessibility, equal rights and social integration.
