Bahrain’s Culture Authority has announced a news crafts competition to celebration World Creativity and Innovation Day as celebrated by the United Nations.
In a statement released, the competition is to not only promote awareness around innovation, but also to highlight Bahraini crafts and traditional products.
Entries are open and the Culture Authority is extending the invite for participation to everyone who has an inkling of creativity.
“Entries are accepted from craftsmen, artists, architects, interior designers, product designers, graphic designers, digital designers and any designers from all backgrounds to submit their creative work, whether companies, teams/groups, creators, manufacturers, suppliers, freelancers, hobbyists or students.”
Submissions must reflect the research, data collected, and design process. Registration is open for four months and the winners will be announced in September.
