Bahrain Condemns Attempts to Target Residential Cities in Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom of Bahrain has condemned the Iranian-backed Houthi militia’s attempt to target residential cities in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through a number of ballistic missiles and drones.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the bravery of the forces of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen that intercepted these missiles and drones before reaching their targets, stressing Bahrain’s unwavering stance in supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against all plots to undermine its security and in all measures taken to defend its interests.

The Ministry also affirms that these terrorist acts by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia constitute a threat to the security of the region and the world, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities and stand in the face of these militias aimed at undermining security and regional peace.

The Shura Council strongly condemned the attempt of the Iran-backed Houthi militias to target residential areas in Saudi Arabia, using ballistic missiles and bomb-laden drones.

In a statement today, it reiterated Bahrain’s unwavering support to Saudi Arabia against any attempt to subvert its security, backing all measures to defend its territories and interests.

The Shura Council affirmed solidarity with Saudi Aranoa in confronting terrorism as well as attempts to target its interests and stability, urging the international community to deter the terrorist militias and maintain regional security and peace.
