Chief Executive of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE), Dr. Mohammed Mubarak bin Dainah, held a virtual meeting with the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Bahrain Roddy Drummond. He praised strong bilateral relations, mainly in the environmental field, stressing keenness of the Supreme Council for Environment, under the presidency of Personal Representative of HM the King, His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on bolstering cooperation between countries as well as regional and international organizations to protect the environment and wildlife.
Dr. bin Dainah and the British ambassador discussed preparations for the 26th UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) which is hoped to be held in Glasgow, Scotland, in November 2021. They also spotlighted key bilateral initiatives in the environmental field.
