Coronavirus Death Toll in Bahrain Rises to 41

The Ministry of Health has registered 4 more deaths due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) this morning.

According to the GDN, the ministry confirmed the deaths of two Bahrainis, a 70 and 85 year-old individual, and two expatriates, aged 50 and 54.

The patients along with all active COVID-19 cases had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team. All patients continue to receive treatment from the Kingdom's highly trained medical professionals following guidelines issued by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The number of active cases in the Kingdom as of this morning is currently 5368 with 5350 stable, 18 critical and 138 currently receiving treatment. The number of coronavirus patients who have recovered in Bahrain, to date, currently  stands at 12,818.

The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased at this difficult time.
