COVID-19 Deaths in Bahrain Rises to 25 With 5302 Active Cases Currently Registered

The death of a 34-year-old male expatriate yesterday and 73-year-old female expatriate this morning has brought Bahrain’s COVID-19 death toll to 25.

The patients along with all active COVID-19 cases had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team. All patients continue to receive treatment from the Kingdom's highly trained medical professionals following guidelines issued by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The number of active cases in the Kingdom is currently 5302 with 5289 stable, 13 critical and 82 currently receiving treatment. The number of coronavirus patients who have recovered in Bahrain, to date, currently  stands at 9056.

The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individuals’ families at this difficult time.
