Bahrain yesterday recorded 112 new Covid-19 cases alongside 233 recoveries and one fatality, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,367.
However, there are currently just 1,537 cases, the lowest number seen in the Kingdom this year. This reflects the tremendous efforts of the Ministry of Health, the Taskforce to Combat the Coronavirus and the citizens and residents of Bahrain to adhering to measures to curb the spread.
The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 65 were expat workers, 38 contacts of local cases and nine travel-related. An additional 233 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 263,893.
Of the active cases, 11 are receiving treatment and 62 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 266,797 cases and conducted 5,124,535 virus tests.
