EO Bahrain Opens First Dedicated Headquarters

Minister of Industry and Commerce H.E. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro inaugurated the first dedicated headquarters of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Bahrain on 17 September, marking a new stage in the organisation’s development.

Established in Bahrain in 2004, EO Bahrain brings together entrepreneurs from a range of industries, including industry, technology, construction, healthcare, financial services and logistics. The chapter currently has more than 50 members representing more than 12 economic sectors.

The new headquarters provides a dedicated space for EO Bahrain members to meet, exchange experiences, develop leadership skills and build business connections. It will also host activities focused on collaboration, networking and professional development.

The inauguration was attended by members of EO Bahrain and representatives from Bahrain’s business community. The organisation operates within the Kingdom’s wider private-sector and entrepreneurship ecosystem, which includes businesses and entrepreneurs across a range of established and emerging industries.

Companies associated with EO Bahrain members collectively employ more than 5,118 full-time employees and generate annual revenues of more than US$150 million, according to figures provided by the organisation.

EO Bahrain also runs EO Accelerator, a programme aimed at supporting emerging businesses and helping entrepreneurs develop the skills and systems needed to grow their companies towards US$1 million in annual revenue.

The new headquarters is expected to support the chapter’s ongoing activities in leadership development, peer learning and business networking, while providing members with a permanent base for meetings and events.

The opening adds a new physical base to EO Bahrain’s operations as the chapter continues its activities in supporting entrepreneurs and connecting local business leaders with regional and international networks.
