Fitness on Track Bahrain: A Great Way To Stick To Your Health Goals

It’s a new year which means new or renewed health commitments are likely on the priority list. If you’re uninspired about how to get started, then what better way to get fit than with a group of people on an F1 track?

The Batelco Fitness on track is an initiative which offers cyclists and runners of all ages and fitness levels the chance to work out at Bahrain’s world famous F1 circuit.

What you need to know

The #fitnessontrack season is from 15 October until April. Cyclists and runners are separated on different tracks. There is cycling in the outer track and running in the inner oasis track. All children are in an inner track pit lane.

The entry policy is in line with governments traffic light policy. This is currently at Green, which means it is open to all. Pre-registration online is essential as this is the only way numbers are  controlled. Participants are given entry gate verification. Runners and cyclists are divided intro group, with the maximum number per group being 6. There are marshals present to oversee the event.

There are also food and beverage trucks on site near the Paddock North car site. If you are cycling a helmet must be word at all times.

Session times:

  • Weekday session take place between 6pm and 10pm
  • Friday sessions take place between 6am and 10am.
