Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay Appoints Jason Rodgers as General Manager

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts leader Jason Rodgers has been promoted to General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay. Rodgers, bringing a wealth of international experience, has been the Hotel Manager of the landmark property of the Kingdom for five years.

"I am honoured and excited for my new role as General Manager," says Rodgers. "Our iconic Hotel is one the best and most significant properties of our company. In an expanding tourism destination known for its amazing hospitality and warm people, Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is one of the landmarks of the Kingdom, on its private island. We offer our guests an island getaway and a city escape at the same time, in a perfect location. With innovative culinary offerings, internationally-recognized restaurants, and exceptional leisure and Spa facilities, our property rises as a destination on its own.”

Rodgers was drawn to hospitality as he was intrigued by the dynamism, exciting challenges, and fun settings of operations on a daily basis. After graduating with a Bachelor of Hotel Management from Canberra, Australia, he caught the travel bug and pursued his strong desire to travel and discover new cultures and destinations.

Rodgers began his career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 1998 as a management trainee in Kuala Lumpur and grew with the company in various properties. In 2000 he moved to Dublin, where he assumed managerial roles for three years in Guest Services department. In 2003 he headed to Hampshire, United Kingdom as the Front Office Manager for the opening of Four Seasons Hampshire. He spent five years at the historic property, where he also received a promotion to Assistant Director of Rooms. In 2008, a pre-opening called yet again, leading Rodgers to Four Seasons Mauritius at Anahita, this time as the Director of Rooms. During his five years at the all-villas-and-residences property, he also made sure to spare time for one of his personal luxuries: playing golf. Afterward, Four Seasons Doha became the address where he first experienced the Middle East region. Here, he was deeply impressed with the cultural diversity and felt a strong connection with the region and in 2018, he moved to the landmark property Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, where he was endorsed as the Hotel Manager.

During his time as Hotel Manager, Rodgers transmitted his vision of service excellence and making a difference by genuinely connecting with guests and his team. His motivational leadership resulted in remarkable operational success, including prestigious international accolades and recognitions for the Hotel. He led crucial projects in Bahrain, such as opening the Hotel's private beach, water park, and Beach Club. Rodgers's guest-oriented approach played a key role in increasing guest satisfaction and repeat business, which also had a significant impact in the tremendous commercial success of the Hotel in 2022, which was a record-breaking year.

Rodgers, who has reputable experience in running the operations in vibrant city hotels, beautiful resort, and pre-openings, will lead new projects with his team, prioritizing authentic culinary and leisure experiences and product enhancements at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay. Famous for his amicable, outgoing, and modest personality, he is also well known for his strive to achieve service excellence. Demonstrating a motivational and engaging approach with his teams, Rodgers has long been regarded as a true leader in the company.

He says, "Consistent, mindful service and continual product enhancement is what sets Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay apart from the competition. Guests desire personalised experiences, and the brand supports tailoring their time spent with us. That is why our guests are loyal to the Hotel and the brand."

When Rodgers takes a break from his responsibilities at the Hotel, he likes to watch sports, including golf, tennis, and Australian rules football. "I have three children who I adore, so the time I spend with my family is irreplaceable and precious for me.”
