HH Shaikh Nasser Dedicates ‘Feena Khair’ Campaign Success to HM the King

HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has lauded the unprecedented response of the citizens with the national campaign, ‘Feena Khair which translates to ‘There Is Good in Us’, through their donations aimed at contributing to the national efforts to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

HH Shaikh Nasser stressed that the outstanding success of the campaign is in response to the great initiatives launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to protect the safety of the kingdom, as well as that of its citizens and residents, noting that since the outbreak of the epidemic, HM the King has placed the health of the citizens and residents at the top and ordered the allocation of a huge budget to safeguard human beings and the national economy, thus making Bahrain a leader in fighting COVID-19 at the global level.

HH Shaikh Nasser made the statements marking the success of the ‘Feena Khair’ campaign, on its first day which started on Bahrain TV this Friday from 12 pm to 2 am.

“We dedicate the success of this campaign to the leader of this nation, HM King Hamad, the Honorary President of the RHF. We extend to HM the King deepest thanks and appreciation for his great interest in preserving the health and safety of the citizens and residents. This has earned the kingdom a prestigious reputation and global acclaim by the International Labour Organisation thanks to the royal directives,” he said.

HH Shaikh Nasser commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, as well as those made by the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, for applying all international standards and precautionary measures to fight the virus.

He asserted that the Bahraini people have proved that they are standing united behind the leadership of HM the King to combat COVID-19, and ensure the success of the national efforts in this regard, which are led by HRH the Crown Prince.

HH Shaikh Nasser expressed deep pride in the participation of the citizens, companies and institutions in the national campaign,  highly valuing their donations. He further thanked them for their commitment to the instructions of the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus. “Bahrain deserves what people are doing for its sake, adding that the matter is not material as much as it is a token of gratitude and a return of favour to this great country,” he said.

HH Shaikh Nasser paid tribute to the medical competencies for the tremendous efforts they are exerting and the great sacrifices they are making during these exceptional circumstances, becoming the front-line soldiers in this war against COVID-19.

HH Shaikh Nasser prayed to Allah the Almighty to preserve Bahrain, under the leadership of HM the King.

Secretary-General of the RHF, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed Al-Ameen, extended profound thanks and gratitude to HM King Hamad for his constant directives to support the needy.

He praised the great support of the government, led by HRH Premier, and the constant follow-up of HRH Crown Prince on efforts to combat coronavirus and limit its spread to safeguard the health and safety of the citizens and residents.

Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed paid special tribute to HH Shaikh Nasser for the distinguished national campaign he had launched to motivate everyone to contribute to the national efforts to counter COVID-19.

He extended thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the campaign, noting that such an honourable stance is not surprising as Bahrainis have always been known for their generosity and love since ancient times. “Yesterday was a day to remember in the history of Bahrain, as a total of BD 21 million were donated by Bahraini people to support efforts to eliminate the pandemic,” he said.

He asserted that the campaign will continue until after the holy month of Ramadan, and that the way is paved for everyone to contribute to it through financial or in-kind donations, through the RHF’s website, https://www.rco.gov.bh , or NBB’s account, BH66NBOB00000082109370.
