Labour Ministry's Efforts to Improve Bahrainis' Employment Rates Discussed

The Labour Ministry’s plans and measures to improve the rates of employment of national job seekers, have been discussed in light of the recent initiatives launched by the Cabinet, especially regarding the regulations related to the flexible work permit and the announcement of private sector job vacancies in the local newspapers.

This was discussed during a meeting between Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, and members of the Council of Representatives, MPs Abdulla Khalifa Al-Thawadi and Basil Salman Al-Maliki.

The minister highlighted the remarkable positive employment rates of nationals, and the future prospects for meeting the demands of job-seekers and integrating them into the labour market.

The two lawmakers lauded the government’s clear plans and visions to provide job opportunities for the citizens, especially during the exceptional circumstances the world and Bahrain are witnessing.

They commended the Labour Ministry’s efforts to implement multiple initiatives in the labour and development fields to serve various social segments.
