The Muharraq Municipality has announced that its main building in Busaiteen will be closed from July 5 to July 23 for maintenance and disinfection.

According to a report by the GDN, Muharraq Municipal Council members and their employees had to undergo COVID-19 tests after 5 positive cases were reported in the Municipality Complex in Busaiteen. The council shares the building with the Muharraq Municipality which had reported the 5 cases.

In its statement, the Muharraq Municipality said that the move is part of its commitment to strengthening the precautionary and preventive measures for the aim of protecting the health and safety of the citizens,  residents and employees from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
