Work on Water Garden, Salmaniya Nearly Complete

The development project for Water Garden, a popular location in Salmaniya, is close to completion as 98% of its landscaping is ready. This was stated by Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning Minister, Issam bin Abdullah Khalaf, who added that the progress of work on the project covers six hectares.

Water Garden has been one of the most popular parks in the Kingdom of Bahrain for several decades. “The development project aims to preserve its historical heritage, renovate the park and preserve its ponds. The construction of service buildings and the implementation of work in the parking lots have been completed,” explained HE the Minister.

The percentage of completion reached 95% in total, as the preparation of the parking lots has been completed to accommodate about 239 cars, with a portion of it to be allocated to people of determination.

“The construction works of the service buildings in the park have also been completed,” he said.
